Favorite places in Hilversum

Your (new) home in Hilversum. Perhaps this is an entirely new city to you and you’d like to know more about what to do and where to go, or you might like to know our favourite places to go in Hilversum. This is where we like to eat, drink, shop and where we go when we need a break from the city.

Located in the middle of the country, Hilversum is The Netherlands’ media city, surrounded by Amsterdam, Amersfoort and Utrecht. Its excellent accessibility by car as well as public transport makes Hilversum a very attractive to place to live and work.

The city also offers a great variety of services such as schools, including international schools, sporting clubs and cultural experiences like museums, such as the The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision (Beeld en Geluid en Museum) and Hilversum Museum. There is also plenty to do in the city centre with a range of great restaurants, cafes and an exciting nightlife.

Big international corporations such as Nike, Sonos, MediaMonks and Ericsson have their offices in Hilversum because of its excellent location, and the city’s great lifestyle.
